How our coverage actually works
There are two of us and we work out of Wishaw, so the honest answer to how far we travel is that it depends on the job rather than a line on a map. A sealed unit replacement twenty five miles away is straightforward, because we can pick the glass up on the way. A ten minute adjustment twenty five miles away is harder to justify for you and for us.
Roughly speaking, Wishaw, Motherwell, Newmains, Overtown, Cleland and Shotts are our doorstep. Hamilton, Bellshill, Coatbridge, Airdrie, Larkhall, Blantyre, Uddingston and Bothwell are comfortably inside the normal working day. Glasgow, East Kilbride, Cambuslang, Rutherglen, Carluke, Lanark, Cumbernauld, Newton Mearns, Giffnock and Strathaven we cover regularly, and Livingston and West Lothian we get out to for larger jobs.
If you are not on the list, ring anyway. We would rather tell you plainly that you are too far than have you sitting waiting on a callback that never comes.
What is the same everywhere
The price does not change with the postcode. There is no call out fee anywhere we work, and we do not add a travel charge for the outer areas. You pay for the work done, and the figure you get before we start is the figure at the end.
The people are the same too. There is no branch network and no subcontractors, so whoever quotes your job is one of the two people who turns up to do it. That is the single biggest practical difference between us and a national firm, and it is most of the reason our reviews read the way they do.
And the van carries the same stock wherever it goes. Hinges, handles, cylinders, gearboxes, keeps, gaskets and the common lock patterns are all on board, which is why most jobs finish in one visit regardless of where you are.

Getting to us from anywhere on this page
The quickest route to an answer, wherever you are, is a photograph. Send a picture of the whole window or door plus a close up of whatever is misbehaving, and for a lock, the make stamped along the edge of the mechanism if you can see it. That tells us what we are dealing with and usually what it will cost, without anybody travelling anywhere first.
