The quickest way to get a price
A photo saves everyone a visit. If you can, take one picture of the whole window or door and one close up of the part that has failed, then send it by WhatsApp or email. Nine times out of ten that is enough for us to tell you what the fault is and roughly what it will cost, without anyone needing to be in.
It also helps to say which room it is in, roughly how old the windows are, and whether the problem is misting, draught, stiffness, a handle, a lock or a door that has dropped.
When we are open
We work 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Messages left in the evening or at the weekend are picked up the next working morning. If a door will not lock or a window will not shut, say so in the message and we will prioritise it, because that is a security problem rather than an inconvenience.
Where we cover
We are based in Wishaw and travel across Lanarkshire and beyond, including Motherwell, Hamilton, Bellshill, Airdrie, Coatbridge, East Kilbride, Glasgow, Carluke and Lanark and Livingston. If you are just outside that, ask anyway.
What happens next
We come back to you with a price or a realistic range. Quotes are free and there is no call out charge. Our repair prices page explains what we charge for. If we can fix it on the first visit we will, and the common parts travel in the van for exactly that reason. Sealed units for misted glass are made to measure, so those take a second short visit a few working days later.
